Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
DOSINT works only with public sources and exists for lawful investigation, research and security work. This page explains what that means in practice.
What you may use it for
You may use the Service only for lawful, legitimate purposes such as cybersecurity, source verification, journalism, due diligence and research. You agree not to:
- harass, stalk, threaten, track, dox or expose any person, or use results to cause them harm;
- use the Service to violate any law, including data-protection and privacy law, or the rights of others;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data, or to bypass security, rate limits or other restrictions;
- automate, scrape or overload the Service or its API endpoints, or interfere with its operation;
- resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties without our permission;
- misuse Discord’s data in breach of Discord’s terms, policies or developer rules.
You alone are responsible for how you use the results and for having a lawful basis for any research you perform.
Examples of what is not allowed
- Looking up a private individual to find where they live, work or spend time, or to contact someone who does not want to be contacted.
- Combining results to build a profile of a person for harassment, intimidation, blackmail or discrimination.
- Using results to take over accounts, guess credentials or access anything you are not authorized to access.
- Running bulk or automated queries against the Service, or using it as a backend for another product.
Enforcement
We may rate-limit, suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, with or without notice, and we may keep the records needed to enforce them. Where the law requires it, we may share information with the competent authorities.
Report abuse
If you think the Service is being used against you or someone else, tell us through the support server, or follow the steps on the data removal page.
